Every constituency can be characterized as a particular blend of demographics, socio-economic profile and political history, which is one of the most fascinating and uncertain features of the vote.

To make matters more interesting, people have to elect MPs on behalf of their constituencies besides getting the chance to vote for State Legislative Assemblies in some selected areas. This dual mandate really shows the reason behind the General Elections having two fundamental purposes; both national and regional government structures are elected during these elections.

The course of the ongoing electoral campaign does not leave any sinew of the political parties and the entrants being submitted to unraveling efforts for victory. From vigorous door-to-door campaigning to annual rallies and mass digital mobilization strategies, these candidates will spare no expense to gain the support of the undecided and energize their loyal voters to voting. The penultimate moments, keenly awaited by supporters with eyes fixed on political fortunes, is often instrumental in determining the future political direction of the country for the next few years.

However, the electoral system is unavoidable of challenges. Cases of electoral abuse, incisions, and logistic impediments have been scattered in different parts, a clear indication of incapacity watertight scrutiny and vigilance to guarantee fresh and free elections. Election boards and security officials try as much as possible to iron out any outstanding problems arising to ensure that the integrity of the voting is maintained.
